Presently, Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree programs are not available through the online or hybrid format. They must be obtained through an on-campus program due to the nature of the clinical practicum and curriculum. However, if you are currently practicing as an audiologist, certainly you are aware that to continue your practice in a clinical setting you must have a Doctor of Audiology

Beginning in 2007, many states adopted the Au.D. as the entry level degree required to practice Audiology. Prior to the Au.D., a master’s degree was required for clinical practice. There are no longer any professional training programs offering a master’s degree in Audiology. Audiology (from Latin audīre, "to hear"; and from Greek-λογία, -logia) is a branch of science that studies hearing, balance, and related disorders.
